British Open Golf

The British Open golf championship, referred to as The Open within the UK, is the only major golf tournament held outside the United States.  The British Open golf championship is one of four major championships in professional golf, and is the oldest of the four.  The British Open golf championship is played the third weekend in July and is the third major championship to occur annually, after The Masters and the U.S. Open.
